Platform comparisons
SyntarEngine vs Magnific: a creative stack or a director and a brand book?
Last updated August 23, 2026
Magnific gives you the studio. SyntarEngine gives you the director and the brand book. Cora directs the work through six stages, and a two-layer DNA architecture holds your signature style and each client's brand identity at every shot. Guard Rails encode the regulatory perimeter as inputs to generation.
What Magnific is
A unified creative platform. The proposition is consolidation: a broad set of generation and production capabilities in one workspace instead of several subscriptions.
What SyntarEngine consolidates instead
Not tools. A workflow.
Six stages from brief to delivery, with the director approving at each. What is unified is the path a piece of work takes, not the set of capabilities available to work with. A stack still leaves the question of who supplies the direction and who holds the brand; SyntarEngine answers both structurally.
The director in the chair
Cora directs. The user directs Cora.
She translates creative direction into the specific decisions a shot requires and leads the Silicon Crew through execution between the gates. What she does not do is decide what the work should be. That judgment is the input the system cannot supply and does not attempt to.
The brand book, made operational
Brand DNA is a structured model of a client's brand identity, built from the CI documents they already have. Six sections: Identity, Visual, Voice and Tone, Audio, Pacing, and Guard Rails.
A brand book on a shelf is a document someone is supposed to have read. Brand DNA is the same content in a form that composes into every shot automatically, with Guard Rails encoding the regulatory and category perimeter as inputs to generation rather than as a review step at the end.
The Brand Guardian holds every output against it and surfaces conflicts as diagnostics. It does not block or overwrite; the person accountable for the brand resolves or overrides.
Brand consistency is architectural, not aspirational.
What the Asset Library holds
What your account has composed: Characters, Locations, Objects, Music, SFX, and Voice, alongside the account's DNA profiles. An asset composed once and reused across ten projects draws from the pool once.
It is your material, accumulated. The library gets richer as you work and each new project draws less from the pool.
Two approaches
| Magnific | SyntarEngine | |
|---|---|---|
| Unifies | Capabilities in one workspace | A workflow, brief to delivery |
| Direction | Supplied by the user | Cora, with the user in the chair |
| Brand identity | Team-managed | Brand DNA with Guard Rails |
| Assets | Library available to draw on | Library you compose and reuse |
| Value unit | Access to the stack | Delivered Productions |
Where this fits
SyntarEngine is built for teams whose constraint is holding a specific creative and brand intent across a volume of work. Teams whose problem is tool sprawl - several subscriptions, assets scattered, a stock library needed alongside generation - get an immediate and real saving from consolidation, which is a different problem and a well-served one.
Questions
Does SyntarEngine include a stock library?
The Asset Library holds what your account has composed - Characters, Locations, Objects, Music, SFX, and Voice - for reuse across projects. It is your material rather than licensed stock.
How is a brand loaded into the platform?
Brand DNA is built from the CI documents you already hold: guidelines, palette, tone-of-voice, prior work. If a brand has been documented, the material for Brand DNA already exists.
What does model-agnostic mean here?
The platform orchestrates whichever model serves the shot and abstracts the choice entirely. Model-agnosticism is common now and differentiates nobody; what sits above the model layer is the difference.
Who approves the work?
You do, at six gates. Cora advocates her view and then commits to your call.
Tiers, Asset Library capacity, and sign-up are on the pricing page.
